When we decided to build a full size, replica early medieval village, a temporary film set for our new feature film The Gaelic King, plenty of people said we were crazy; but striking out boldly and ambitiously is what we’re all about, and we found that the scale of our vision inspired people to join in with the project. We were able to partner with the local community to create something inspiring. We started the village project in early 2015 in preparation for the first block of filming, which began in September 2015.
The site has now been restored to its former state, and no one would know a village had been there. For now it exists only 'on film', but soon enough everyone will be able to visit it by watching The Gaelic King.
